Cardi B will be bringing in 2021 with a $30 million court settlement.

The rapper has been in and out of court with former manager Klenord “Shaft” Raphael for the past two years.

Raphael claimed that Cardi used him until she reached the pinnacle of her success, and then cast him aside. The manager also claimed that he helped write Cardi’s breakout song “Bodak Yellow.”

But the worst part is that Cardi’s royalties have been tied up as both parties await a ruling by the judge. This means that Cardi has not received any money from her music in over two years.

A representative for the “WAP” rapper has revealed that the case has been officially settled and both parties have agreed to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice and pay their own lawyer fees.

Cardi took to her Twitter page to share the good news. “Feels good to be free,” she wrote.
