Cardi B is being dragged all over social media after revealing her decision to purchase an $88,000 purse.

At a time when most of the world is dealing with a global pandemic and have suffered financial hardships, many felt that it was insensitive for Cardi to flaunt her extravagant purchase.

But Cardi is not backing down and was quick to defend herself.

“I didn’t offended no body, didn’t do nothing illegal. I’m not going to apologize because I work my ass off and I ask MY FANS! Which ARE MY FRIENDS A QUESTION! Ya want to be hurt so bad,” she said.

The “WAP” singer also made it a point to share her other charitable donations over the year, including giving back to Puerto Rico after a devastating flood and an African orphanage.

“Go cry about it. I never seen u tweet about me when I donated a million-dollar twice now you here,” Cardi posted.

Eventually, the Billboard Woman of the Year award recipient did apologize… well, sort of.

“Ok guys I apologize. There you happy ?! I don’t see ya askin trump for a apology when he out here missing COVID meetings to play golf but..,” Cardi posted.

After hours of going back and forth online, trending on Twitter for 24 hours, Cardi finally logged off.

We commend her for always giving back, and hey, it’s OK to treat yourself sometimes!
